Need a good, clear pic/scan of Discs of Tron panel
« on: April 09, 2003, 08:06:56 pm »
Can anyone supply me with a good, clear picture or scan of the Discs of Tron panel?  I've found several pics on the web but they all appear to be very washed out.  I'm trying to match my CPO to the exact colors of the real thing and none of the pics i've found look right.  The red always looks WAY too pink, and the blue appears much too light (i'm assuming this is from flash photography).  So, does anyone have a blank overlay they could scan or get a high quality pic of?  I don't need the whole CP in the shot.  I just basically need a good example of the colors (the bluish-purplish background color, the light blue line color, the green arrow color, and the reddish text color).

Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Thanks a bunch, guys.  Your pics especially helped, PlanetJay.  After looking at your third picture, I think i've figured out why all the colors look washed out.  The colors on the outside of the cabinet and the colors on the control panel don't quite match (not even close, really).  I'm guessing that the control panel was made a slightly different color because once the blacklight was on it, the color would change.  So, i'm guessing that the pics i've been working from so far aren't washed out, they're just not lit by blacklight and therefore look very different.  i'll try out the colors from the outside of the cab instead.  I'm sure that will make a night and day difference.

If only i could fit a blacklight over my control panel.  :)

Next time I find him, I'll reshoot the CP close up.
