| Help me find a shinobi arcade manual |
| (1/2) > >> |
| Crax:
I downloaded these shinobi files in zip from arcade archive, but inside the zip are a bunch of files named shiobi.ai, .a2, .a3 etc. I tried to open them with photoshop cause I thought maybe they were picture files of somekind but that doesn't work. Anyone have a clue as to what program I can use to open these? saint's note - ROMs attachment removed |
| SGT:
This is not an arcade manual. It is a shinobi rom. If you look at the contents of the shinobi rom that I have, it has some of these files including shinobi.a1 the contents of which is identical to the shinobi.a1 in your shinobi.zip file. Not sure what version of rom or how old it is, but I don't think its the latest. ADDITION: Looks like a rom version prior to .36 beta 2 as the names of the drivers in that rom were what you have prior to then. Below you can see all your file names and when they were changed in beta 2. Go here: http://mamerominfo.retrogames.com/ then click the following heading Version 0.36B1 to Version 0.36B2 (Text 136Kb) [Because they do not allow direct linking to the text file.] |

Sounds like you got your download figured out. But did you find the manual yet? If you just need the operations manual, head over to www.crazykong.com Usually you can find manuals there or at arcarc.xmission.com (although they don't have shinobi) Usually manuals are scanned in as PDF files. |

I still haven't found a manual. I have checked everywhere I know of and everything google gives me to check but no shinobi arcade manual yet. Tried arcade archive, crazykong, mikes arcade, and a few other places and still haven't seen one. |
