HaRuMaN:
Nope, you can eliminate their common ground, and just wire up your separate ground to each button.
Volk:
yeah i know that i can do that with the buttons but the problem its with the joystick...thats what i mean for one ground only and dont really know how to make that  :0 ....  i make a diagram based on the one you posted so you can tell me how to do it cuz i have 4 direccional signal wires (up,down, left, right) and for each the direccions i have grounds so i wanna know how to doit like the diagram u posted or another way cuz i really wanna make it right  (:

thx again and have patience on me... its my first time doing electronics and this kind of stuff  xP

HaRuMaN:
There is a pcb that runs around the joystick.  You simply have to break the ground wire on it (in 4 places) and then wire directly to the switches.
northerngames:
all you need to do is connect the 4 seperate switch's ground's on the joystick to any one main ground wire on the PCB.

you could run all 4 switch's with their own seperate ground wire all running to the main ground or you can run 1 single wire to be used as a ground to connect to all 4 switch's ground to ground and then have it run to your main ground off the PCB

that one ground wire can connect to any other ground wire wether it is one connected to your buttons in the control panel or to a ground of the printed circuit board but it all has to connect ground wise

see how your buttons are wired and notice the switch is the same as your joystick?

now wire the joystick the same as your button switch's as they are the same exact thing.

1 signal 1 ground for each switch.

the signals need to be seperate but the grounds do not you can run everything with it's own seperate ground that would eventually run into one main ground "the hard way" or you could dasiy chain 1 ground to them all "the Easy Way" or you could do a little of both.

to make it short there schematic is wrong so here it is corrected  :laugh2:

Cause it looks like I would have to either break the plastic or solder off the potentiometer to remove them. Two things I want to avoid.

Also, what should I do to move the headset jack from the controller to one of the sides of the arcade stick housing?
