Anyone tried these?

640x480 locks you into 4:3.  Definitely not a replacement for a primary display but at $350 it would be a great secondary display for console gaming or casual PC use.

Loki:
I'd love to have one of these but I'm a bit worried about what it will do to my eyes.

ChadTower:

I found some at the Sharper Image's website that appear to be the same unit with different labeling.  Too bad there isn't a Sharper Image store anywhere near me.

Awesome NEW Product !!

"Now..... not only can your cool new Wii controller go crashing through windows, doors, walls, pictures, lamps and other common household items..... but so can you!!"

(I so had a vision of trying to use these for that purpose)

I know, that's awesome.  How irresponsible is it for them to suggest using it with the Wii, of all things.  Yeah, the Wii is the first console that you should be playing while you are blindfolded.

I can't imagine these things being very useful except on an airplane or something.  I don't think I would ever want to use them when I was at home.  There's a dentist near me that uses headsets like these, though, and it's awesome.  When you sign in you select a movie from a list of hundreds and then you sit there and watch the movie with headphones on while they work on your teeth.  Best dentist experience I've ever had.
