Look again: I used the button for the first link and it is terminated correctly! Same thing for the TinyUrl version. The only thing that's messed up is the version I quoted from your post. Not sure how that happened...
In any event, the point is: the button on the toolbar doesn't help you produce shorter URLs!

You need to edit the tags like this:
[url = http://www.somesite.com] plain text goes here[/url ]
Just don't use spaces.

Ah. Saw that when it was fairly new. Didn't like it much. I deal with those idiots 9 hours a day in real life... they're not entertaining to me, I want to throw them off a building and kick them from windows on the way down.

I'm with Scott on this one. It isn't real easy to find the correct way to make the shortened URLs in the help on this forum.
On a side note, Scott, why the dislike of Delta tools? Or is it just their junk Shopmaster line that you don't care for? I've always felt my Delta tablesaw was on par with the equivalent Jet model.
