This one really sucks you in. The part of the movie that just blew me away is that the action scenes are all done in single takes! The one in the end where they run thru an urban battlefield is frikkin awesome! The camera is always right behind the guy, and at one point a little blood gets spattered on the camera lens. If it felt any more real, I would have had bullet wounds.
Highly recommended. I can't believe the director wasn't nominated for an oscar.

i saw this one a few weeks ago, and before that i was saying 'apocolypto' was the best film i had seen all year, now i think 'children of men' is the best film i have seen in a few years. it was so much more than i thought those single take "private ryan" style shots are amazing and the emotions it brings out in people..

i just can say enough positive things about this film.

if you see 2 movies at all this year see both of these.

Aside from the action does the story seem rehashed?  when i saw the trailer i thought id see but i didnt get the chance to and im wondering if the whole people cant have kids seems over done.  the part i thought interesting was when he was drinking coffee and the building behind him gets busted open by some sort of explosion is that the scene youre referring to shardian?
