Mala Gamelist Error

I'm trying to make some non-mame gamelists in mala and I keep getting the same error that pops up after I select a gamelist and click edit on the gamelist tab.  I have attached a screen shot. 

When I click OK on the error it brings me to the gamelist editor with no games available.  The all 'games list' is full and does work for these emulators.  This is happening with every non-mame emulator I try but I don't remember an issue with mame (its been a while). 

Any ideas?

Are you using the lastest version?  RC8

If you look on the MaLa WIP/history page the following was fixed:

October 11, 2006
• Bugfix: Error when adding a game to another list on non mame emulators. (Not possible message)

If so I would think this is a diffrent bug and if so report here please for Swindus:

Hmmm, ok.  I figured for sure I was doing something wrong...  My version shows RC8 but I'll update it just to make sure that doesn't solve it before bothering Swindus with this.

Can you try to run MalaGamelist as standalone app (not from the MaLa option dialog)?

Thanks for your help guys; I figured it out.  I had previously taken the version number off my MaLa directory to simplify things and the gamelist editor was still looking for the directory with the version number on the end.  I updated both the mame rom directory (which was also wrong) and the working directory paths and all is good now.
