What is the largest number of x to 1 devices that allow you to actually plug in multiple JAMMA boards as opposed to using a HD and what not?  4 to 1?

There is a four to 1 jamma board connector out there that allows you to connect 4 original boards and switch between them. But I've just been digging and I seem to have lost the link to it..... Sorry!!

I assume the x to 1 devices that use multiple jamma boards utilize some sort of switch to choose which board to use as opposed to a front-end type situation?   Do they require multiple power supplies?   I'd be interested in that link if you were to come across it (or anyone else).

Try this: www.multigame.com

That's Clay's Multi-Jamma unit. Hand built one-by-one and he takes FOREVER to make them. I hear some people have been waiting over a year since they paid to actually receive theirs.

That unit can support up to 8 original Jamma gameboards in one cabinet. You'll need to fabricate something to hold all those circuit boards. You need one power supply for every two original gameboards (all boards are powered up at all times). It's also likely you'll need to make cabinet modifcations to increase ventilation (all those boards & power supplies get hot) and to the wiring for increased power requirements (bigger wire/fuses).
