Puke
horseboy:
My 13 month old daughter is the thoughest little kid I have ever seen in my life. She falls all over the place banging her head and whatnot, but I have never seen her cry from hurting herself. Maybe a little frown and a whimper, but no crying. That is until last night. She smashed her finger in the damned door. Seeing her in real pain for the first time (besides a little ear infection) was the worst feeling I have ever had. I could puke right now just thinking about it. I would rather cut off both of my pinkies with a spoon than see that again. Just thought I would share my misery with the world.

I broke two fingers when I slammed a mini-van door on myself one time. That was not fun at all.
My little girl is 2 weeks old and I feel like I am torturing her everytime she gets a bath. She screams bloody murder pretty much the whole time.

My little brother slammed my head in the sliding minivan door once. Also not fun.

Luckily our daughter always liked baths. They are getting to be a handful now, though.
ChadTower:
My older son used to have severe diaper rash problems. For about the first year every time we changed his diaper and put on new ointment he'd scream like we stabbed him with a cigarette. The rash would openly bleed and the doctors had no idea what it was from. It was enough to reduce you to tears.
It felt worse when we moved out of that apartment and discovered that the underside of the rug in his room looked like two month old bread.
His skin issues all cleared up within a week of moving. It feels so much worse when, as a parent, the child's pain is your fault.

Our baby had problems with diaper rash for a little while. The nurse at the doctor's office told us to stop using anything. No ointment, no powder, don't even wipe her unless she pooped. Diaper rash cleared up entirely in about a day and a half. Heh.
Speaking of puking, I'm starting to get achy all over and I feel a bit queazy. My wife's had stomach flu for the last three days. I think it's my turn now, ---by the flying spaghetti monster's hairy nether regions!---!
And Shardian, just wait till you have to hold her arms and legs down while the nurse is giving her imms. It's heartbreaking.
