A little premature, aren't we ? He JUST got the cabinet. It's not like he's been sitting around touting eleventy brazillion different earth-shaking designs without any real progress. :banghead:
snk: a GREAT cabinet ... my first upright was a big blue Capcom cab like that and I still love it (even though classics are where my heart lies). You might want to pick up some Molex connectors (try local electronics store or The Real Bob Roberts) and wire to the JAMMA harness using the existing connectors instead of chopping the existing "subharnesses". It's not much more work than wiring from scratch and gives you/uyer more options down the line if you/buyer want to change the cab up.
Cheers

Not too sound like a jackass, but if you're going to sell it as is, let the other guy/gal worry about wiring.

I saw the add fro that cab too. It looks to be in pretty good shape though I wasn't as fond of the high Marquee as opposed to some other cabs.
<snk> I'm just a bit North of you. Nice to know I'm not the only noob in town. LOL.

I actually bought this CPS-2 cab to use some parts to finish my MAME cab. :-\ I'm planning to sell this CPS-2 cab. No it's a marquee that's painted in red, same for the bezel.

That's awesome to know it works. It's hard to find a monitor that DOESN'T need a cap kit. That's a shame about the marquee. There probably isn't any way to get the red off without damaging the plexi underneath. BTW, which game's marquee is it?
The huge marquee on these cabs would be a real problem for conversion. I've seen one where the top of the cab was cut off to make it smaller, another one they were smarter and just blocked off part of the marquee to make it normal sized. If you see these with the full Capcom marquees they are a thing of beauty (mostly due to Capcom's fantastic artwork). Here's a pic of my SF Alpha marquee. I bought it just for the artwork.
