mala error

I am trying to install mala on my system.. I am getting this error - anyone have any ideas?

I am using the command line version of mame.exe when asked, and I generated an xml list using mame.exe -listxml > mame.xml

Any help or insight would be most appreciated.

Is there any recommendations on resources for Mala configuration and plug-ins?
