Time for a game...I took out the tinted perspex...I think it was a little too dark....will keep it incase i change my mind later

Alright..  Take a big breath rb.. I know your excited, but one thing at a time m8!  ;)  :)

Your PCB is an original Gyruss, hence it's Konami Classic Pinout as RayB stated.  Here's the pinout and dip switch settings.. http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/pinouts/Gyruss.txt

Buttons and Joystick?  personal choice... search the forum for upteen arguments on micro vs leaf.  The original gyruss sticks are nice.  In general.. classics=leaf.

Get your monitor chassis checked out by a techie if your having problems.  No need to change the power supply if its working

rollerball:

Thanks mate...yes monitor is working FINE...all of it is working fine....the joystick is a bit how you going But i will sort that out...Im going to get an adapter for it then so i can run a jamma multi game board....any suggestions on a good vertical multi game jamma board??

Fozzy The Bear:

Your monitor is dark, because at the very least it needs a Cap Kit.... The hissing is possibly a leakage around the HT somewhere... could be several problems there. It will get worse if you don't have it fixed now.

Best Regards,
