The non constructive feedback that comes to mind:
I assume that it is successfull ergonomically as an arcade cabinet.  As a piece of furniture it's aesthetically successful (if you like the style) but a practical nightmare as arcade cabinets tend to be.  I don't like the furniture style, but as you said it was built to spec.  

I think it's an apreciable feat to try and make a cabinet which disapears when not in use.  It must be extremely difficult to do from a design and construction point of view but it's a bit of a self defeating exercise.

you are right on. i would not have that thing in my house but it is what my brother wanted. the "artwork" is a poster he had on the wall of his garage. he does own a west coast choppers bike so he thought it "fit". i have had games inside my house since 95 i dont need to hide them. he wanted to hide his for some reason. also remember this thing was built 4 years ago. alot of things have changed in the hobby since then.
