I purchase those low end dell systems with integrated intel cards. I add a PCI card from either Nvidia or ATI. I just make sure the card doesn't have a fan. It usually costs around $30-$50. |

Not that this answers your question, but if it makes you feel better I did the same silly thing. I bought a sale price AGP graphics card for my cabinet only to realize later I only had PCI-e slots. I went to take it back to Best Buy and even though it was only 1 day past the stated 30 day return policy, they refused to even give me store credit for it. Grrr. :banghead: |

The most uptodate regular PCI card that I can find is an ATI 9250. Find a real ATI card as opposed to an non ATI card as the real ATI cards are more up to spec. The 9250 is a Radeon card with recent drivers and 256mb video memory. I use a 9550 ATI card with radeon catalyst drivers and it works quite well for TV out. |

As said in another post to the same thing. Just go to ebay and purchase a pci card of the following: Radeon 7500 - Yes, the 7500 works flawless as I have one running to a rca tv. Radeon 9000 Radeon 9200 Radeon 9250 Radeon 9550. AVOID anything NOT radeon 7500 or above. AND DONT buy the geforce cards, they might work but most have sad that the tv out don't look very good. They all should work fine for your setup. They can be had for about 25 bucks shipped. If you don't have time to wait, I would suggest bidding 30 bucks and pretty much guantee U one. |

I have a GeForce4 AGP and the TV out looks just fine for composite. |
