I think it looks really good, but i do have a few comments/questions:
Since you aren't really stuffing too many controls into the space you have, why make the CP so deep? You could stay closer to the original look and probably save yourself some work by making it the same size as the original and not having that large overhang. Plus, i'm betting that it's going to dig into your hips/gut when you start playing on it because of the way it sticks out.
I, personally, would try to stick as close to the original as possible. Colors, fonts, pictures, etc. If you want to go retro, go all the way!
Your cabinet already looks very authentic. You might as well continue the theme on the CP and bezel as well.
What is the black circle over the 2nd player for? Not a trackball, since you've got one in the middle. And it looks far too big to be a spinner.
I'd consider moving the P1 and P2 start buttons further apart. That will give you more "elbow room" around the trackball. This all depends on how you plan to use the trackball, of course.
Overall, i think it looks great. But these are things i would consider if it were mine. Great cabinet, BTW. Centipede is one of the top three most played games on my cab, by far.
