So when I first started this project I got all excited and went out and bought off ebay a video card that was AGP. And of course not knowing anything at the time my computer can only support PCI. So next I buy a VGA to S-video adaptor that I have been informed will just blow up my TV. So now I buy a ATI 3D Rage II+ PCI card and install it and the damn thing has some type of error. And of course the guy doesn't include the install disc with the card that ATI no longer supports! "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" I 've been searching where to get an updated driver hoping that will fix my problem but I can't find the darned thing. I am not even sure this will fix my problem. This damned Video card is the last peice of my puzzle here so I'm getting a bit frustrated. WHOO... Ok I feel better now. Any Advice please? |

Your computer only supports PCI...how old is it? I suppose this is a pretty obvious question, but are you sure the motherboard doesn't have on-board video with a connector that you can hook your monitor into? Do you see any other devices under Display Adapters in Device Manager? |
