well since I didn't build this cab I guess it doesn't go in Project Announcements....... Anyways my story is simple have been attempting to build an arcade for 3+ years now. I have started the UA2 plans more than 3 times have multiple pieces cut out, started a showcase cabinet, never finished that either. I have all the parts marquee, controls, coin door, laminates tools to do a cab, just never had time due to work and the real world....... So I finally decided to screw it and buy a cab, but not just any cab. The cab had to go well with my entertainment room layout and color scheme, and what more beautiful cab than a 29" tri sync Atomiswave cabinet. Here are the pics, I plan on gutting the atomiswave board in there and putting mame/dc/ps2 in there as well as an arcade vga Pci-e to control the tri-sync monitor. Anyways here are some pics was excited last night when I get it!!! more pics coming soon Oh and I am on east coast Philly area, so I had to order this from West coast from Matsu, great seller. Cost me 2k delivered ,which is about what all the other components tools wood etc cost me. Guess I will be having a forum sale soon..........

Congratulations on a cool cabinet!

You and you friends will enjoy it for 1000's of hours! Now. You just need beer!

Nice cab. I am a big fan of the candy cabs myself, much more suited to a home environment if you havent got a dedicated games room IMO (lighter and easier to move about for a start LOL).
I know what you mean about real life getting in the way of arcade fun, its not always easy to grab a few hours to concentrate on building that's for sure, which is part of the reason I ended up going for a conversion myself.

I haven't seen that one.  Looks better than a lot of them...but I'd miss a spinner and track ball. Looks like you can sit down at it, yeah?
