| MAME32, taking screen caps, need some info please (2018 Build Info Collection) |
| (1/1) |
| Mattiekrome:
Hi all, noob here. Anyways, I am new to this whole MAME scene. I have plans in the future of building my own cab, based on the original SFII 6 button CP. I also have plans of hopefully finding a way to pull off some custom art for my cab, which is where my question comes in. I know how to grab a screen cap of a game from inside of MAME (F12), but is there any way to adjust the resolution of the screen cap? Reason being, for my side art I was going to take some screen caps of several different "memorable" characters from various games and mesh them all into one side art peice. Only thing is, the pics are pretty small when grabbed via F12 key, any info on how I could get these images a bit bigger? (not HUGE, but also not nearly as small as they are when snapped. I was thinking most of the images I want will be in the 4x6 to 8x10 range. Thanks for any info or help! Ahhhh, and here I am, more than 10 years later. Now that I've got a man cave, thinking of getting back in to this. Been out of it so long, that I'm going to have to relearn it all from the beginning... This post has been edited, and everything below the above horizontal rule will be my info collection for the new build.
