I'd have to use it first of course, but it sounds like it has potential. The more flexible the better, that's the whole strength of the sticks right? :) |

--- Quote from: AndyWarne on January 31, 2007, 09:30:26 am ---There is no bug as far as I am aware. After upgrading, the first thing to do is "uninstall" the device in Device Manager and then let it re-detect. This is because the upgrade completely changes the characteristics of the device but leaves its USB ID unchanged. This is not something that would normally happen with a USB device so Windows does get a bit confused. After that, you need to re-assign the correct joystick number (if not #1) and download a map. Andy --- End quote --- What I did: 1. Upgrade firmware to mouse_pointer 2. Restart Windows 3. Run Ultramap and program map 4. Play If you say that I should uninstall device in Device Manager first I will check it tommorow. But if I first remove device in Device Manager, Ultramap doesn't see U360 and I can't upgrade firmware. Then maybe I should: 1. Upgrade firmware to mouse_pointer 2. Remove device in Device Manager 3. Remove U360 from USB 4. Restart Windows 5. Plug in U360 to USB 6. Run Ultramap and program U360 ? I think it will do nothing but I will check. PS. With self-press all buttons at one time I have problem on 2 PCs. Kowal's PC is third. You must made chaotic moves using joystick to see how U360 self-press all buttons at one time. |
