Ya, and when I go to the Check tab #2's circles are greyed out. If I mess with the "set" dropdown or whatever I can make it so joystick #2 takes over and #1 does nothing, so I know it 'sees' it on some level. But I can't use both, so that #2 can scroll or anything.

Well, we probably should have long ago moved this into another thread, but...

What version of MaLa?  I seem to remember there being an issue recognizing the joysticks in RC7 or something like that.

Nope RC8, the current one.

I have seen this happen, but usually it is both of my checkboxes that become disabled.  Usually I exit mala, use UltraMap to apply maps to the joysticks, and then run MaLa again.  That usually seems to do the trick.

Hmm, so are you saying that you can use both UltraStiks in Mala now? For instance I'd like the left stick to scroll normally and the right to scroll in X increments.
