| Ultrastik 360: The quest for new springs |

So I love the Ultrastiks, but the stock spring is just too loose and mushy, and the 'medium' replacement spring is WAY too stiff. I know other people feel the same way, so if anyone finds a good replacement somewhere let us know, and I'll post back if I have any luck. |
| Donkey_Kong:
Are you sure you are using the medium spring? I mean you could have mistakingly used the hardest spring and in that case would definitely experience ultra stiffness. hmm I think the general consensus is that the medium spring is where it is at on the U 360...but everyone is different. Let us know... |
| Aurich:
Yes I'm sure, the hard spring is so stiff it's useless, though the medium one is barely less stiff. Unless Andy screwed up I can't imagine using either, they're way stiffer than any joystick I've ever used. Did you think the difference between the two was that great? (Med and hard I mean) |

I read a post here a while back about someone swapping out the stiff spring in an E-Stick with a softer one. I think that person just took out the spring and went to the hardware store and found a similar one. Maybe try pulling it out and going down to your local hardware store (a real one like Ace, not Home Depot) to see what they have. |

Hmm, the only Ace around here is no bigger than my house. |
