Best Regards, Julian (Fozzy The Bear) --- End quote --- no its completely different from the money controls sr5,in the u.k you find these coin mechs used on battery powered pool tables-riley and simply pool use them,one is set on 100us and the other 50us but i can't remember which. as for the wiring it looks like you gonna need a schem as the wires could be anything,i would expect 4/5 coin outputs,4/5 coin inhibits,+12volt,ground and coin counter.there is no point guessing as you could cause damage to the coin mech or the game board-the only other way to do this would be using a multi meter and tracing all the wiring or changing to a credit board and c120 type mech but to do either of these you need to know what you are doing or you're gonna fry something :cry: |

Is there a differance between s5 and s6 coin mechs....... will either work if i plug them in, do they have different size ribbons or pinouts? |

crompton's are/were based in ramsgate,kent,england have you not tried to contact their tech dept,they would be able to give you the interface pinout,coin mech type and programming setup |
