Mala prevents me from shutting down PC via power button?

Hello from Maine,

I recently discovered MaLa, it is awesome! Especially for vertical cabs. I set it up in minutes and even made my own skin in a few minutes, what an excellent FE. It also uses very little resources, not much more than mame32.

Anyway - the way I have my cab set up is to power down when I turn the computer off (relay) by pressing the power button the PC. But whe mala is runnign I can't shut down the computer with the power button - only after I exit mala.

I would like mala to close when I shut down the PC, any ideas?

How Bizzare.  It works for me

I am using win xp pro (see pic)

alternativley you can have mala shut down the computer when you quit it

I did notice that MalA can shut down the PC, but that's with "quitting and confirming" not with a single button press...

So it works for you, huh? That is funky. I am using 98se.

Well I have mine set up so if i want to shut down I ....
1) Hit esc (Player 1 + Player 2)
2) Confirm by hitting Player 1
Easy

Yep..I can shut down using 'either' method under XP Pro
