Taborious:
Downloaded AtomicFE .18.1 and I ran the layoutmanager and thought I had things right but no such luck. I have my background image and my game list, snaps & game info windows but I see nothing in game list or game info windows. I do see the snap images and I can scroll through my games with the up/down arrow keys and the snaps change but I don't see the game list nor do I see any info in the game info window. Obviously missing something simple but can't see it.

I have searched this forum and the official AtomicFE one but didn't find any answers. I did try and move my game list up the list (or down) to bring it to the foreground but that didn't help...???

I have not ran lay out manager myself
did you have a game list before you ran lay out manager?
did Atomic show a black screen and count your roms
this is when Atomic sets up the game list.

roms must be in the roms folder that atomic has.
no subfolders. ( I mean Atomic can not be in drive C and try to point the FE to another drive were you might have your roms)

Hi,

I think your problem is just a problem of object layer . (position in the list in the object selector).

In the object selector on the left,  more the object is up on the list  more it will be on a background layer.

So your list should be down in the Object Selector and your background up.

What kind of list do you use?  Text ? or Picture List?

Zip your layout folder and send it to me by mail, if you want, i will look and say you precisly where is the problem.

It is not true.  ;)  You can put your roms absolutly where you want. Just have to configure Atomic to say where are your roms by changing the ROM Folder of your configuration file. It can be on a different drive.

I don't know if we are really  talking of the same thing, because this feature is doable since Atomic 0.01 ....
