Error Reading Games List File...MALA Problem?

(1/2) > >>

Sinner:
I've built a machine for my niece and nephew for Christmas and it was working fine...then one time when starting the machine we got an error from MALA..."Error reading games list file"...
I played with it a little bit, and I couldn't get it to work, so I just setup a new installation of MALA and it seemed to work (we've been using the latest version)...
It's been about 3 weeks and now I'm 1500 miles away and they're getting the error again...

Anyone know what might be causing this??

I'm hoping it's something I can walk my sister through over the phone...

Any help will be greatly apprciated.

Thank you,

Matt

The machine isn't connected to a network, but I'll see if she can get a USB key or something to get it off...
What games file is it refering to??

Please have a look in the MaLa dir. There should be a file called MaLa.exe.log and post the content here.

Great.  Thank you.  I'll see if she can get that tonight for me.
