Using P360's for 4-way and 8-way

Aren't P360's changeable between 8-way and 4-way by flipping the plastic piece under the cotter pin just like a Happ Super?

I agree that 4-way versus 8-way is a physical thing, not a software setting.  If I had a quarter every time somebody thought there was a software solution to this hardware problem (turning a digital 8-way to a 4-way), I'd have, well, at least a few bucks. . .

Yeah. What it does is disable the diagonals and each game handles it differently. When you do this, for many games it creates deadzones and your character will stop moving all together when you hit a diagonal. From my tests, frogger works the best with this and all the donkey kong games actually play worse.
