Connecting cab speakers?

Sounds to me like if you're running generic PC speakers already (just make sure they're POWERED speakers), you can take a saw to them and pull the amp for powering the cab speakers.  takes just a few minutes and you've got the volume right off the AMP.

If you do that, the cab's pots (if it has any) won't be used anyhow.

My suggestion about wiring directly to the pots is for purely cosmetic purposes (I'm anal like that).  If you have speakers with a volume control inside it's easy to just take out the volume control and mount it right by the coin door or some other accessible place.
