At my house, there is only one powerful computer, so my brother and I like to play. local multiplayer games. But now we want to play Halo, Quake III, etc. against each other. These games only support network multiplayer. Is there a "magical program" that will make my PC think that it is two computers (i.e., allow it to connect to itself. )? Or are there mods for these games that allow local multiplayer? Thanks. |

I've never heard of playing two player fps on a pc? Is that something supported by the game, or are you running two apps of the same game on two monitors? That is definitely one MONSTER computer if that is the case. |

Maybe they'd have better luck just beating the piss out of each other for real. |

And I would probably be running Quake 3, since it has such low requirements (as opposed to halo). But I've thought about that more and realized that a mod would be more realistic. Or I'll just buy Ghost Recon or another FPS with Coop/local multiplayer. --- Quote from: ChadTower on January 05, 2007, 03:57:17 pm --- Maybe they'd have better luck just beating the piss out of each other for real. --- End quote --- Chad, if I had a picture of you, I'd make a Mii for you and beat the piss out of it in WiiSports Boxing. :D |
