New Software for KeyWiz Users: Faster Uploads, Virtual EEPROM, Etc..
RandyT:
Wow, this took way too long. But here it is:
New Features:
* Works with all KeyWiz interfaces: No hardware upgrades necessary!
* Faster Uploads: Now takes only about 3 seconds under 98SE and a little over 6 seconds under XP/2K.(Thanks to MikeQ for help with the XP acceleration)
* Stealth Mode: Hides the main screen, but still provides subdued progress indication.
* Improved Virtual EEPROM ease of use: Just click on the option. That's it! :)
* Default Set Option: Provides persistent settings at every re-boot, regardless of the profile previously uploaded.
* Diagnostic Function: Shows the code sent to the computer when a control on your panel is activated.
* New PDF formatted documentation: Find it in the folder where the application is installed.
* Can be installed anywhere on the system.
* Numerous Graphical enhancements :)
And most importantly, it's free if you own a KeyWiz!
For now it can be downloaded here. It's a preliminary release but should be plenty safe to use and enjoy. Please let me know of any issues you might find with either the software or the new documentation.
Thank you again for the continued support.

Sweet! An excuse to play games this weekend! I'll give it a try and let you know how it works. Thanks for the stealth option. I assume it can load custom profiles from the previous version?

Yes, the profiles kept the same format so you can just copy them from your old config folder to the new one.

What can I say except.... that this is the coolest upgrade to the KeyWiz and the functionality improvements are excellent. Just tried it out and found that the virtual EEPROM function is exactly what many of us have been crying out for. Really can't compalin at this especially as it's a free upgrade!
