Seeking "How To" for wiring PC power button to panel

Does anyone know where I could find a "how to" for wiring my PC tower's power button to a button on the underside of my cab panel? My arcade builder didn't give me a dedicated power on button, the PC keyboard doesn't have one, and I don't want to have to open the coin door every time to power up the cab. (There's a Smart Strip inside so everything else powers up when the PC does.) I can't imagine it's too hard a job to do. At the same time I haven't done this before so I don't want to screw it up.

Easy job! Don't worry, I think anyone can handle this one....
1) Use an ordinary arcade button...
2) Connect your wires to the Common and NO terminals on the button.
3) Run those wires to the PC and connect them to the wires that run from your PC's start button to the motherboard.
To connect the wires in mine I cut the cable that runs to the PC's start button and used a little "choc block" connector to add the wires from the arcade button. So it now powers up from the PC's start button or the arcade button.
Hope that helps.....

Helps indeed. Thanks. Meanwhile I tracked down Saints helpful tutorial, too. You gave me all the confidence I need to finish this off myself. While I grumbled that the cabinet didn't come with one as I hoped, this is probably a good little project to get me over my apprehension to wire stuff myself.

I did this too and it works like a charm. I have the switch positioned on the top of my arcade so the little ones can't start and shut down the system without adult help. Push on. Push off. Nice
