Is there a market for orignal arcade parts?? Re: Arch Rivals

I bought a perfectly good working Arch Rivals upright that I'm going to MAME.  The game works great, the CP is above average, the joysticks and buttons work well.  Is there anything salvagable in this machine or should I toss it all?

The inside of this cabinet is impeccable, all circuit boards, etc are clean as a whistle.

Sorry for the lame questions, I'm new here  :applaud:

I'm sure some of it would sell if you posted it here with pics. Ebay is an option too. All of it is salvageable. As a matter of fact, there are several people on here who will be hitting their asthma inhaler at the thought of you trashing the innards of an original machine. ;D

Thanks!  I have no idea as to the market value of this stuff or even what some of it is called  :dizzy:
Does the board allow "best offer" type posts or do I have to post a price?
shardian:
Your best bet is to start a thread in Arcade Miscellaneous, post some pics, and start asking what things are. Tons of people on here will be more than happy to help you determine what everything is.

The circuit board, marquee, and wiring harness can all go to ebay.  The Arch Rivals joysticks are Williams 49-ways, and were also used on Sini-Star.  I love 'em, they're great sticks.  You might consider keeping them for your MAME project, you just need a pair of GP-Wiz49s from GroovyGameGear to interface them.

Also, the monitor is a MEDIUM res monitor, so it's not so good for MAME, but they're in short supply on the used parts market, so you might do OK selling that, be sure to get some really good pics of the game running, showing how clear and bright the screen is before your dismantle it.

-EDIT-  I was flat wrong here.  Arch Rivals uses a Standard res monitor.  My apologies to anybody that listened to me.  -EDIT-
