Scantily clad woman design
« on: April 01, 2003, 07:34:14 am »
I think the scantily clad woman won by a hair in the poll...so obviously this is a woman and the accompanying slogan.  (I originally posted this on the other thread, but then realized that's for finished designs)...anyways - this is still in the changing phase - so suggestions are welcome!

I can see a lot of people's wives/girlfriends letting them wear THAT in public.  ;)

Well, is she too scantily clad? I was kind of going for the extreme here...sort of like those extreme motorcycle or racing t-shirts (girl in bikini with big ducati sportbike...)

I have a nice arcade cabinet.....  How come I don't get any chicks like that?

I wouldn't even care if they were animated either.

Now with cup beer holders!

she kinda reminds me of jennifer love hewitt..:-)

<edit> that's a good thing..:-)

<edit 2>
I guess "if you build it...she will come" -while being more 'fields of dreams"-ish - is out of the question as too risque.. but "If you build it.. she will play" kinda rolls off the tongue nicely.. just a thought.

Well, if that's the idea then you're dead-on.

Still, when I first read the slogan I thought more of "despite her initial complaints, your significant other will enjoy it as well".  i.e. your wife may ---smurfette--- about the mess/$$$/childishness of it, but she'll love it afterwards.

Personally, I wouldn't wear that around my family/co-workers.  On the other hand if you gave her more realistic breasts, lost the nipples, & lost the hanging cleavage I'd wear it.

On the one hand I really like the design.  On the other hand I always thought that particular slogan was distasteful.  I know there are tons of guys out there that wear shirts of half nekkid women out here.  I've just always found it a little too white trash for my tastes.  (And believe me when I say it then it's bad, cause I'm mr mullette boy for christs sake.)

So love the design, just not for a tshirt.  :)

I do agree however that it probably dosn't belong on the shirt. You should probably stear cler of the entire path instead of cleaning it up.

NICE ARTWORK! I think cover the bottom of her boobs....and change slogan to "If you build it...she will play." or "...They will play." "They" is more generic.

Also, can you somehow make it less "square" of a design? I'm not sure how, but it is too "boxy" i think.

anyway, i doubt this design would cater to everyone..but i like it!

 ;D :D :o

Thanks guys for the feedback -  yeah my co-worker's in my department also thought it a little too...graphic.  The slogan would be easily changeable to something else, but I suppose it would still have to fit the picture.

Now that I look at it some more - it kind of looks like a poster or flyer.  Like for an event.  Oh well, live and learn  :)

I just found this sweet-ass computer  :o

http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/akiba/hotline/20030503/eren.html

I'm thinking of hacking it into an arcade machine by installing a control panel in her lap and a 6.5" LCD sceen into her chest. This scantily clad woman design would be a perfect background image.

That ain't a motor in the back of her honda.... its a power supply! Baby got back!

Well everything new has been said, so I will leave with this quote from SNL:
"Well [I'm] off to go beat some bludgers"
"Oh, you're going to go play quidditch!?"
"No."

totally dig the slogan.. tho a t-shirt like others have said, feels a little bit to "white trash".. something the guys who come in and buy games from me at work, that havent bathed in a few days (smells like months) and buy the fishing game with the girl in the bikini on the cover..

i dunno.. id make a poster out of it, or maybe side art, but i sure wouldnt wear it...

and this is comming from someone who wears a shirt that says F*** You I Have Enough Friends.

I'd wear it. Needs a little more underboob though.

---maternal-smurf---, I just had to teach my spell checker that 'underboob' is indeed a word.

I'm also OK with the "If you build it, she will cummm" variation. I'll see if my wife will wear one.

She says, "yeeeess" from the kitchen. I'm not sure she heard what I said.

Frosty was recently sighted after a dormancy.  The only thing this thread could possibly be good for now is restarting a token fight somehow.  Those are generally entertaining.

Looking at the original photo, the underboob is a bit much. You usually don't see plunging necklines AND underboob. My favorite example- David Lee Roth's "Yankee Rose" video.
