I did the same thing with Borat. Everyone said it was awesome, funniest movie in the ever... I pretty much couldn't deal with it past his asking the feminists why they would educate women and their rushing out to destroy the Jew egg before it hatches. |

I see a generally good actor who I find to be funny at times. Pretty sad commentary that some people can't see past skin color in the 21st century. Would it make a difference if they picked someone who was Jewish or a Muslim in a remake of a role that a Christian actor played at some point? Or male vs. female such as Starbuck now being played by a woman instead of a man? I must have missed your post where you stated how upset you were that Colonel Tighe was being played by a Caucasian instead of an African-American. You're a tool! --- End quote --- Hey wad...stop playing the race card schmuck. And for your information, I don't watch Battlestar Galactica...not since the late 70's anyway. And I imagine that some folks just may be a little put off if Jesus was portrayed by a Muslim or if Martin Luther King was protrayed by a red headed Irishman. My post had absolutely NO racial overtones yet you read between the lines. Race baiters like you piss me off. Pick on someone who deserves it Rev. Jackson. --- End quote --- No racial overtones? Let's see.... the word cracker is a racial slur and you commented that an African-American played a role that was originally played by someone of a different color. How is that NOT about race? Those that view others based upon race ARE bigots whether or not they can admit it (or are intelligent enough to know it). And I would imagine at some point that someone played Jesus that was Jewish, an atheist, or agnostic. Only bigots point to that versus commenting on how he played it. Let me guess that your next post will probably point out how many close friends you have that are of a different race.... |

What a piece of crap. --- End quote --- I watched that on new years eve. One of the dumbest movies ever. Although the guy that was working out one arm was pretty funny looking. J_K_M_A_N |

Have a nice day. PS: From where I am from, "cracker" is not a slam, but rather street slang for "white person". I would highly recommend you brush up on your modern day slang. It's not the 20th century any longer. Couple that with the fact that my momma is a white girl, gives me ALL the right in the world to use the word cracker. Sounds to me like the enlightened one is more like the uptight one. Again...have a nice day. |

Seriously, stop creating bogus user names. It was funny at first, but now you're not even trying to look legit. |
