It would definitely be fun but the logistical issues are just HUGE. Just moving my cab from one room to the other takes me weeks what with getting motivated and all. I would show up if you all brought your cabs though. :cheers: |

I think the best thing to do would be to try and organize a local, or state club. I know a few guys here in WV who are in a pinball club. They all have kick ass game rooms, and each month they go to a members house to chat, play, and eat. Something like that for us would be neato. Unfortunately, there are only 2 other guys near me who even give a crap about arcade games, and I doubt there is another one of you guys for at least 4 hours. |

2nd thought: It would be a Logistic Nightmare wouldn't it?...(PIPE DREAM REALLY) starting to come down from the clouds a bit now... Ugghhh. It would suck to organize but friggin' FUN to ATTEND! Maybe someone would have the strength to go for it (orginization) ...ya never know. If someone did, I would load my game up and be there for sure and what the heck, at any level for that matter. City, State, Region or Country!! Minnesota BYOAC members did something like this recently... |

I love the idea, but it will never happen. Not ever. There's just way too many hurdles to overcome for a meeting like this. Local groups may be doable, but even then, you're likely to find very few people willing to MOVE their cab. Also, not sure if you know it or not, but there is a meet-up forum here to organize things like this, although usually much smaller scale than your grand vision. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?board=25.0 |
