The One Machine - Completed!
« on: March 30, 2003, 01:24:54 pm »
Hello everyone! This is actually my first posting here but I've been a long-time reader of ArcadeControls.com and I've drawn inspiration from the collective expertise and knowledge of the people on the Forum to pursue my own project.

I just want to announce that my cabinet 'The One Machine' is finished as of a couple of days ago. The website detailing its construction is at jalidi.dyndns.org and has also pretty much reached a final state.

Thanks to the hardcore arcade fanbase here for the existence of this Forum and site. Any comments, suggestions, criticisms are welcome.

Congrats, but the link isn't working for me!  :(
Every millennium
A warrior emerges.
Trained in the deadly arts of the ninja.
Moving with the swiftness of the wind
Striking with deadly accuracy
They are proud
They are strong
They're Scottish

One of the dangers of hosting a website off my computer is that the service can be interrupted by events beyond my control... a power outage this morning reset the network IP address and took the site offline. I've been busy and didn't even realize it until I read your message. It's working now, but I'm currently looking into putting up a permanent mirror elsewhere on the Web to handle these sorts of problems.

Thanks for the congrats, I'm pretty pleased with it.  :)
