How to remove sticker/art from marquee plexi? |
<< < (2/3) > >> |
Nervous:
Can you peel up the sticker, or is it completely impossible to remove? If you can peel it (even a little bit), you could remove the remaining adhesive with Goo-Gone or some other solvent. I think what's happening is the sticker is acting as a barrier and preventing the solvent from attacking the adhesive. |

(the only way to peel it is to scrape it - but this proved to be extremely hard, and also scratched the plexi) This is a very very thin sticker, and like I said, it is kind of baked onto the plexi. |

Gasoline- a bit dangerous, but CERTAINLY worth a try. |

Why are you trying to peel it? Is it so you can reuse the plexi? I think a new piece of plexi in that size would cost as much as anything you buy to remove the adhesive. Plus if that effort doesn't work you'll end up paying more just to try and get the sticker off. And then you're left with old, used, busted up plexi. :P Just go with a new piece. |

OK guys, I'll bite the bullet. Buying a new plexi tomorrow LOL Thanks for everyone's input! -J |
