Marquee flourescent light. How?

The marquee lights run off normal 110V AC power not DC, so Iz is right.. no real need to replace it.. you can verify this by checking to see if the old light wires directly into the AC filter/transformer (no good with the technical terminology, sorry if I'm wrong on names here) or the DC power supply.

OK, so let's say I wire it up to a regular power cord.
I still see 5 cables coming from the assembly. 2 or 3 cables I can deal with, but 5? hehehe
I think I need a wiring diagram :(

Not having seen your light, I would assume that the extra two are for a switch to power it on and off?
