I personally never played many Neo Geo fighting games. Those are the only Neo Geo games where I think original button placement is critical. Otherwise, you can probably get away with just using them as they are in a 6-button layout. |

I've considered going the 7-button route, but I've played on what I guess were cab conversions where the operator went against the norm and put the four buttons in a block pattern. It actually worked out fairly well, and would work fine on a 6-button layout. |

They cover up two holes from their SF layout control panel and just make it into a Neo Geo machine. |

Ultimate Mortal Kombat III is the reason i decided to build a mame machine :applaud: I woke up one morning with a serious NEED to play UMK III! Isearched every where in town for one on ANY platform and none were to be had. I even called friends that i knew had it and no luck, they sold'em.
