Hey All, I was looking at the button configurations for the I-Pac 4 on the Web site, and it lists six buttons for players 1 and 2, but only four buttons for players 3 and 4. I'm making a cocktail cabinet with just two players right now, and I want to add a side control panel with fighting game button configurations. The controls on the sides will have a simpler four button configuration. Should I make the simple controls players 3 and 4 on the I-Pac? Will it matter when playing games? Or can you hook up six buttons to all players with the I-Pac 4? Thanks. Matt |

The inputs are available on the IPAC/4. I have one. The thing is there aren't any games that use more than 4 buttons for players 3 and 4. I asked the same questions when I started ;) dot |

P3 & P4 6 button games do exist on some emulated games. I don't know which ones because I only use MAME, but I know they exist..... I used the remaining 2 buttons on P3 & P4 as admin keys. |

Sorry. I didn't consider other game systems when I answered your question. Likewise, I used players 1-4 input #8 for my admin buttons. dot |

I guess I thought some of the fighting games required 6 buttons. I will have 4 buttons on each of the short ends of the cocktail, and then I was thinking 6 buttons for the side, larger, control panel....kind of like this. http://dagint.com/index.php?option=com_zoom&Itemid=41&page=view&catid=1&PageNo=1&key=1&hit=1 |
