And, as I responded in that same ranting thread, just wait until you want something that isn't actually AVAILABLE anymore.

After all, we are talking about a phenomenon that peaked more than 20 years ago.To find parts available to the home consumer is rather remarkable.

For those who asked earlier, YES, it is vector-related, and, NO,  I don't have enough parts yet to call it a project ...

the name of this site is BUILD your own controls. Don't forget you have the ability to not just assemble controls - you can actually make them.

Hey! I happen to like my miscellaneous USPS boxes of arcade goodness I'll probably never use strewn about my garage, thank you very much.   ;)

After writing that, I went downstairs and counted ... 19 boxes of parts and a bunch of CPs, power supplies and ISOs.
