Heres my pathetic effort,
honestly not a patch on some of the awesome controls in this thead !!
I built it to be able to play Tron properly with a spinner and 4 way joystick.
ideally I want to change the 4 way for a proper trigger 4 way stick.
and maybe put some artwork on there to tart it up lol

I've wanted to build a Mame cabinet for the last decade and finally took the plunge last month. It's a slow process since I'm doing it in my limited off time but so far it's coming along nicely. There are a few changes from your standard cabinet. The first being my very tiny house needs a very efficient cabinet design. I still wanted 4-players so the majority of the time was spent on testing layouts where 4 people could play on a panel not much larger than your standard 2 player. My marque is also not a traditional one, more on that later. Hopefully I'll have it finished by end of summer. Oh and all of the white buttons and track ball are RGB LED's which should be a joy to wire up.

Thanks!
I used black "Translucent" (not much light is getting through the 1/4" piece) Acrylic purchased from Amazon

Cut flush to the MDF with a spiral up-cut router bit.
