Finally decided to invest some dosh in getting this old broad a face-lift...
This used to be attached to a cab, but I'm not a purist on the OCPD spectrum and times have a changed. Actually, sorry, that's just my arcade snob excuse. In reality I'm just too much of a cheap *big f'in steaming pile of mutha f'in f-bomb* and lacking in "free" space to build cabs like they're Pokemon or Skylanders. If it wasn't for my pinball habit I probably would, but I gots my priorities. Heh! So anyhow, she's re-"Christ"ened as "The Necronomicade" (y'all needed Lovecraft g33kery here to balance the Star Wars shrines) and I plan on building it a proper arcade style ped which can handle swappable CPs. Here's some cute graphics I did up to convey that theme over... the kids love all the R'lyehian BTW! >:D
All of it on there currently save for the last one, the CP overlay graphic. That's done and printed, but not on yet. Came up for the idea for that last and I'm not in the mood quite yet to rip all that button bling apart just to put this sucka on quite yet.

Say hello to my pimped out Battlestation 2!
All Sanwa'd up, JLF Sticks, circle gates and 2 PS360+ Controllers installed.
Had to weld jlw plates to the jlf plates to get it to fit
Its pretty much an anything controller now, id say it can take any system you throw at it, and has a pinout just incase ;)

Pretty groovy, although those toggle switches are mighty close to the action buttons.

Im just happy that the Aussie company that designed it back in the eighties
were smart enough to copy Sega's two player button layout.
Feels like a cozy Astro City.. :)
