Here's is some updated summary information about my "Project X Arcade" as of 10/5/2024.
I didn't build exactly from specific plans, but had inspiration from multiple sources. The base measurements and closest thing to plans (along with some good tutorials) came from an old site here (
https://www.arcadecab.com/), and from pictures of a project called Neon MAME by someone named Knievel, which mainly inspired the circular side cutouts and curved angles in the side panels.
Once I started though, I began to make a lot of customizations. I kept a detailed blog at the time, but the blog has been down for a while. I do have a pdf backup of it though which you should be able to download here which contains a lot of information about what I changed and lessons learned

I also made a video of the bezel assembly here:
Since the blog, I've made a number of further enhancements, including the addition of a marquee monitor topper and Stream Deck to provide the option of instant push-button game selection, which are controlled by my own software available here

The most recent addition is a GRS Super Rotary joystick, Ikari Warriors edition a few months ago. Here's how the machine looks today.
