They didn't have a single touch screen sell for under $125, which I was hoping for as well.
That foosball table, while in EXCELLENT condition, sold for $725 - WAAAAAYYYYY too much. Guy coulda got a new-from-a-store table for that price and wouldn't have had to mess with the token acceptor.

Was it a Tornado table? Those things go for over $1,700 new, and they hold their value for a while.

I think so.
I simply can't believe those sell for that much. What makes 'em so much more valuable than "regular" tables?
I don't believe I've seen "regular" tables for a whole lot more than that, and the play on 'em is somewhat better than normal, but I figured it was from some type of bearing setup in the player rods.
What's the deal with a tornado table (since I'd LIKE to pick up a nice table, although that went for double what I'm looking to spend)

I used to play tournaments and the only table that any serious American foosball player would play on is a Tornado table. Once you get into the game, there is a huge difference between Tornado tables and anything else. Each brand of table has it's own peculiar style of play. Tornado tables are fast and offer good ball control. The bearings are just plastic rings with silicone.
In the 70's and early 80's, everyone played on Million Dollar Tables. These were the tables with a blue playfield, and instead of 3 goalies - there were ramps in the corner. These tables were known to have good banking capabilities. This was a very defensive table to play on. The goals were only 5" wide. The ball is approximately 1" and the men are 1" each - making it hard to score. While a tornado table has men/ball of 1" the goal is 7" - making it easier to score.
If the foosball table is more for looks than playing, get whatever you want. Or consider bumper pool. Thats fun, takes up about the same amount of space, and more people are willing to play that. I have a foosball table, but people really aren't interested in foosball - and I have foosball playing friends!

That's right, "rejuvinate", doh
I wonder if whoever got the showcase with the 33" vga screen got a deal, without anything to drive it, I couldn't tell if the screen was any good...
Ah well, now I wait till next year...

Any bill changers / token machines? I wanted one in September, but ran out of space and money.
