What, you don't have UMTS or GPRS in the US?

Come'on they barely got GSM !!! Some states even seem to be GSM-free like Vermont.... :D In all honesty I had perfect GSM around Boston and NH.
yeah, it's pretty hard to accept that the Europeans set a world-standard this time :D
I was weird to be in the States and see all these phones with ancient antenna's on them :D
And i've seen no-one SMS-ing, I mean.....it's like the stone-age ;) My family probably wondered what the heck I was doing with my phone once in a while :D
Anduhm......I envy you guys who are able to do this during work time....as a service engineeer I'm always on the road, yes I can use GPRS but I need to keep the usage down and I guess my customers wouldn't be very happy.
But it was a horrifying silence, a big black hole in the internet.......what a relief to get up this morning to see it back in good health :D
