Awesome Cheffo, One more question. How does the bottom lip attach to the cab? Is there a slot? Or does it just sit on top of the front of the cab? I can't see no screw holes for it to attach to anything. |

No slot per se, but the kickplate is routed along the top edge, which has the lip resting on the top of the routed portion and against the back. That is, there is an L shape when looking lengthwise down the top of the kickplate and the lip rests in the angle from the top right. If that doesn't make sense, I'll take a picture tommorow, but be warned that the original kickplate on my Galaga has water damage and has come apart, awaiting replacement once I haul my table saw out. I can't even get good meaurements on the routing. Cheers. |

 Thought it must have been something like that. I think I will slot the top of my kickplate and add an extra bend to the control panel so it sits in the slot. Nice and simple. ;D |

Weird, my CP has a little metal plate sticking out in the bottom middle which fits behind the "wood". |

My (repro) Galaga panel has the same thing, but an extra bend achieves the same effect. FWIW my panel is actually 23 1/16", which only matters if you're going to use the real thing as opposed to making your own. Now hurry up and build it, I'm starting mine and want to crib ideas from you! >:D |
