Well, the Game On show is long gone, but I think the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry is still a great place to visit. If you happened to have read the Devil and the White City, you'll be interested to know that the museum is housed in the only remaining building from the 1893 World's Fair.

Not arcade related:
One of the museums there currently has the King Tut exhibit through December, the Museum is near Soldier Field. I plan on checking it out when I am in Chicago in December for a Bears Game.....GO BEARS!

That would be the Field Museum, right next to Shedd Aquarium, another popular Chicago tourist spot. One thing to keep in mind, be prepared to wait. I think it takes about 3 hours just to get in to see the Tut exhibit (though they do offer advance tickets to cut down on the wait time). They also have Sue, the largest, most complete T. Rex skeleton. :)
And while they don't offer tours, Chicago is also home to Midway games, WMS Gaming (formerly Williams) and High Voltage Software, makers of the Family Guy video game. ;D
