--- Quote from: johnm160 on October 15, 2006, 10:35:59 am ---what can you see from the inside where the glass meets the speakerboard? --- End quote --- Well, Nothing really. I can see the end of the glass, I can even slide it up a little bit, but something seems to be blocking it from sliding up further. (If it could, I'd be able to slide it downwards and out of it's holdingplace) I can't inspect the place where the block may be from the back of the cab, because it is a closed compartiment (and above the monitor) and when I remove the marquee and then slide the speakerboard as far up as I can, without tearing the cables, it doesn't remove the block or give a clue as to what else blocks it.. --- Quote from: Peale on October 15, 2006, 10:58:14 am ---So when are those pictures coming? --- End quote --- I'll try as soon as I get a hold of the guy who helps me with that.. --- Quote from: RayB on October 15, 2006, 11:34:48 am --- --- Quote from: Peale on October 14, 2006, 05:06:27 pm --- --- Quote from: RayB on October 14, 2006, 04:04:45 pm ---Download the manual already... --- End quote --- It may or may not have disassembly proceedure for the cabinet. --- End quote --- Yeah but what about the dipstich settings that he says he is just randomly messing with? --- End quote --- I am not randomly messing with the DIP switch settings, I have the manual and set the settings exactly as I wanted them, it's just that some extra (coin?) DIP board messes up my settings, making the coinslot not work at all, for example giving me 45 lives per coin instead of multiple credits per coin.. ??? I know that the PCB is not faulty, because if you press the 'free credits buttons' in the back of the cab (shown in my little gallery) you DO get 6 credits per coin, but as soon as you work with coins the other PCB board seems to meddle with the settings. EDIT: I am sorry but I don't know how to get out of this 'quote' window TMNTfan Edit by moderator: fixed for you. |

Is it possible you misinterpreted which side of the dipswitch is "ON"? Is it also possible you misinterpretted which position is "1" and which is "8", etc? |

Again, as with my other cabinet problems, it's not too serious but I would like them resolved, especially where the battery goes.. |

Ok we are going to need some pics with the control panel open. I am sure removing the glass is going to have something to do with the panel that looks like it has four buttons between the control panel and the glass. Remember this was meant to be in an arcade, the glass is not going to come out with out removing something that would normally be locked.....Usually that will be the control panel. Open her up and get some pics from that end. |
