Yeah, I'm going to go. I go to college there, but it is spring break so I have to drive down there, I'm dead broke though (just got a speeding ticket) so I'll bring along my brother and have him lend me some dough.

I'm afraid to go...afraid I'll see a cabinet I want, but don't have the room for, nor a truck to cart it off in.  I would like to find a new cheap 25" monitor though.  Last SJ actuion I went to (2 years ago) was full of newbie people who were driving up the prices increadibly.

I can see that happening here...there aren't too many arcade game auctions in this area, at least I haven't seen many advertised.  Plus, this is the most inflated market to live in within the US, or at least pretty damn close.  Trying to find a cab (non working) for under a $100 might be a chore, even a crappy one.  Nonetheless, I will attend.  I just want to see the man known as "DO-RAG" in action :), and see if I can find a steal on a cocktail cab.

Thanks for the reminder.  Not sure if I'll make it since I shouldn't buy anything. 8)  Guess I'll have to drive my compact car to make sure I don't buy anything if I do go.

I want to scope out the scene and see what's up for auction and for how much around here.  Little over an hour drive for me just to look, though. :-\

I'm only about 20 minutes away, and I have a truck :)  If the price is right, I'd like to get a hold of a cocktail cab, but I'm not going to hold my breath.  If I can find some sideart or something cool I might dig a little deeper, but my cab has already cost me much more than I budgeted for.  My golf game is suffering because I've had to make mandatory cutbacks, according to my treasurer (pregnant wife) :)

Thanks Hoe...I'm trying to get as many projects in before the baby is born (June 14th due date).  Finishing up my current cab (a little paint and detailing) and hopefully starting and finishing the cocktail cab project are top priorities when I get home from work these days, besides my wife of course :)

Well, if by enough you actually mean ONE FRIGGIN CAB....I'd actually like to have some originals too...

NO..what i meant is you already have all the panels ever so why would you even bother buying used crappy cabinets anway. :P

I myself would NEVER buy used cabinets(not to keep for myself anyways).

Snaaake, I agree with the BUILD YOUR OWN CAB theory   The one I'm hoping to pick up is eventually going to be in a relative's (on my wife's side of the family) den.  It need not be pristeen :)

Football guy,

Know what time this thing is supposed to start?  I didn't see it on the site.

Their website info states that a "preview period" will go from 8-10 AM, and I assume the auction begins right after.  I'm gettin jazzed to check it out!  The wife is even letting me go by myself!  That could be a big financial mistake on her part :)
