I just got a 19" PC monitor to replace the 21" one that's in my cocktail (with the bezel, the 21" is a waste IMO) and I have the exact same issue.   The PCB was made to be supported by attaching to parts of the case (actually attaching to BOTH parts of the case)

Here is what I've done, so far, to keep the PCB in place.

I'm going to have to cut even more away to get it mounted in my cocktail cab, but so far things are looking good because my plastic bezel fits up against the screen but there's still enough support to keep the PCB in place.

The hardest thing in working with this is that I'm cutting plastic while the tube is still attached (to at least part of the case).  There's no way for me to remove the monitor completely from the case unless I were to disconnect all the wires going into the board as well as remove the anode cap.
